Quaint Lodge. Kenhardt is a small little town and if one blinks you might have found yourself pass through it. It is situated about 160 km from Upington. We stayed there on our way up to the Kgalagadi Transfontier Park, coming from Cape Town. We did not expect much, just a place to sleep over. But we were pleasantly surprised. In a town where everything is brown, the lodge is surrounded by palms, lawns and greenery. We had the privilege to stay in the Orange Room. Such a loving touch to that room, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The Lodge has lovely kind personnel and we also enjoyed a pleasant breakfast. Absolute value for money. It also has facilities for own cooking, fridges, Microwave etc. and is ideal for a big group or family!

Amazing!!! Highly recommendable. After a very bad experience in Zeerust, we booked a night at this oasis in the Karoo. Linda is just one fabulous person, so friendly…. although we did not meet her as her dad needed to be rushed to hospital. But….Hermanus checked us in, gave us the option to choose a room and was a fabulous host. The rooms are clean and beautiful decorated. We did not expect this for a small town like Kenhardt. Just shows that in the small towns you find far better personal service than in the larger towns/cities. If you ever travel through Kenhardt a stay here is a must and I can only image a cup of coffee with the amazing owner, Linda. Linda….keep up the great work, you are making a difference. We definitely left a part of our hearts in Kenhardt. May your guest house only grow from strength to strength….you and your lovely staff deserve it.

Exceptional. Lindah is a most friendly hostess and the environment was quiet and peaceful!! I will most definitely go there again.

An absolute delight! My family and our in-laws stayed over for 3 days. What an absolute delight… central cooling, especially in such a hot place like Kenhardt, cozy, clean amenities, the friendliest and warmest host, Linda…what a pleasure! If you ever up that way…why not stay. We certainly enjoyed every minute of it.

I had an excellent stay at this establishment. I would very highly recommend this establishment and I can say with no doubt it is one of the best accommodations I have ever been to. I will certainly be back!

The atmosphere was amazingly quiet, just what I needed away from the busy street life and into a relaxing environment. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Linda was friendly and a great Hostess. I would use their service again if I’m in the area and also recommend them to others.
